Springs will enhance handleing as well as lower the car. Sway bar is not necessary but very much enhances handling of the Lancer. I think I would rather have swaybar than springs. It is very important yet often overlooked part of car. We put huge rear sway bars on all of our FWD and AWD race cars to neutralize understeer which is engineered into virtually every stock produxtion car!

No the springs do not make understeer. Mitsubishi does!

What he was saying is that the added rigidity makes it so the car oversteers slightly more than stock I think. Makes sense to me anyway.

I had the Progress springs and the sway bar installed on my ES and now the car handles a lot better than it was before. It's more fun to drive the car now!

$120 to install. No alignment. Still $400 sounds like the shaft. $200 total sounds more like it.
