Suspension question
go ghetto cut a coil...its cheap and will get ya low...ride may suck a little though...i may cut a coil to see how far it sits until i get my coilovers...hope the struts can hold up for a couple of months...
As in terms of the Tein coilovers, they are a kit consisting of the spring w/adjustable sleeve and 16 level adjustable dampers, which runs you about $1250. Now the ground control is the spring and sleeve set, which you will have to use stock or ralliart struts, runs you about $350. You will get a better ride from the Tein setup. I have heard it many times, you get what you pay for
Tein is good. But when people say coilovers make sure they mean shock and spring set togther. Cheap coilover spring sets alone lower the car too much and then blow up stock shocks or ralliart stuff. Even turned up to the highest settings car is still more than 2 inches lower. That is too much! Otherwise be safe with Eiabach or Progress springs

Thanks Rock I meant to say that in there somewhere. Just put in my Eibachs on, feel great. A bit on the bouncy side so I know that a much lower drop would really screw up the stock struts. Road///Race Rocks

This trick is just one of the things that we lament about when talking about Rice. If you do this may as well hollow out the pre-cat and get the speed stickers done too.
