lower the spring question!!

I want to lower my spring. but I have no idea what size I need. I want to make my car looks very low,( the lower is better). can you guys just give me a lowest size fit my lancer and I can ask the performanceguy to order for me!!thanx

I think Skunk2 makes the most cost-effective coilovers for the OZ and it will allow you to lower your car more than any standard springs will.

It sounds like you're trying to buy much shorter springs. That's a very dangerous thing, because they won't extend when the shocks do, say when you go over a dip or get airborne (or close to it) for an instant.

A much better choice for you would be to get adjustable coiolver sleeves, as mentioned above. Skunk2, Ground Control, and even the full Tein and JIC kits will allow you to slam your car. Check out this pic of my car when I first put the Teins on, and it could have gone even an inch lower!!!


Of course, anything that low or lower will actually make your car handle worse, but it sounds like you're going for appearance and not performance. In that case, get some Ground Controls and play with them a bit.
