help! about my tranny

I drove my car last night and shifting every gears were fine. And when i drove my car this morning, shifting every gears were like a bit tighter than before (even the car is really warm) but I don't hear any grinding noise. Anyone might know what could be the problem?

One more question is red line oil for our tranny will void our warranties?

always use the same product (from the dealer), different products dont mix well and can cause problems. maybe you could go to a transmission shop and let them bleed it out and go back to dealer and have them put in their mitsubishi transmission oil

hope that helps

just about everyone on these forums has switched to redline, valvoline syncromesh (i think), or some kind of better fluid, and has not caused problems, actually makes shifting smoother, the fluid i highly doubt is the problem

I switched to Royal Purple gear lube. Amazing difference.

Switching your fluid type will not void your warrinty as long as it is the proper viscosity for your vehicle and the place you are using it.
