Z is the only person that I've read about with a problem with an eBay shifter. I love mine and I've had it installed since Jan 04.

I love my ebay short shifter. Get this and the underhood shifter bushings and you'll be amazed. Which shift knobs did everybody get with their ebay shifters? I got a crappy autozone one and it doesn't fit right. I'm wondering if a more expensive one will still not fit right.

Bushings can be baught from KartBoy*sp*. And I only heard about I broken shifter so far and it was at the very beginning. The guy apprarently broke the shifter on the 1/4. If you ask me.... you have to be shifting really really hard to break the shifter.

I got brass bushings from ebay, but I highly recommend spending the extra 10 bucks on the 2 piece green ones at kartboy. They are so much easier to install than the brass version.
