it is basicly a switch that lets your ecu know it is in neutral. i mostly know subaru's and they have them in their MT cars. hopefully we have them too so this little pointless part will work with my car. it is a gear position indicator from Acumen. it memorizes your gear ratios by a speedo and tach signal and will display which gear you're in when you shift. The neutral position switch will make the display read (N). it was originall for motorcycles. kinda going for the wrc type look. got them for my wrx and 2.5rs and know i want for the lancer. i know it will work without the NPS i just wanted it to read right.

i wonder if there is anyway i can make one using the shifters staff. i don't know how im going to do it but i can usually think of some thing. maybe the gear selector on the tranny where the cables hook up. i have to look into it more.
