I'm assuming they're using Daikin-Clutch parts because the Stage 3 looks just like my Clutchmasters clutch. They're not kidding about light pedal feel and sharp but smooth engagement. It comes with my recommendation. Apparently Mitsubishi changed the TO bearing they're using now because of problems with the original ones, so try to make sure you get a new one when you're buying a TO bearing.

Yeah, I saw. Just giving a general recommendation for people who actually read before they post new thread. The ACT Stage II is an organic faced clutch disc right?

Joe's a good guy. Say hello for me.

i believe so, i don't know how to tell the difference by looking at it but i believe the site says it is...even the box doesn't say whether its organic or not...whats the real difference?

I went and looked at RRM's site. It's organic. Organic clutch faces are some sort of amalgum of different compounds, but I think they're primarily something along the lines of a super rubber. (Obviously not quite that simple)

Ceramic/metallic feel harder to the touch, look more metallic and are pretty obvious when you see them. Gonna try to find a pic without stealing RRM's.

Sorry for stealing bandwidth, ClutchMasters.

i've looked through the ACT stuff. 2 different pressure plates, 3 different discs. that makes 6 possible setups. one pressure plate has 45% more holding capacity while the other has 95%. 1 disc is organic and is for street. less grip but better engagement. 2 discs are ceramic but one is a 4 puck and the other a 6 puck. 6 puck for better engagement, 4 puck for harder shifts. ceramic ones are the race only clutch discs and still rather bites hard by comparison.

for the clutchmasters, they got a whole bunch of stages. looks like RRM sells the FX200 as stage 1. the pressure plate supposedly holds 70% more than stock. the kevlar backed clutch boasts smooth engagement and long life, but require a break in period.

for RRM stage 2, looks like they're (they'd better be) using the ACT 95% pressure plate with the organic clutch good for 320 lbs of torque. seem like a good street setup. can take more abuse than most of us are ever gonna give it.

i'm only going by pictures on evom and by website. who knows until someone gets part #'s.
