Front motormount specificity Question

Hey guys I was browsing the forge website and I notice they have an aftermarket front motor mount of the evo 8. Just by the looks of the picture it looks like it might be interchangable with our lancers. Can anyone confirm, or am I was off base.

the price is in pounds... so you need to convert then, international shipping... i would say skip that and get one from deyme(sp?) racing, which are the ppl that make RRMs and you dont have to pay RRMs mark up

I'm 99% sure it's the same. I think Mitsubishi has been using the same front motor mount design for almost 10 years now on most of its 4cyl cars.

Just go to a Mitsubishi parts site and cross reference part numbers.

Ah, oh well. If anyone has a spare, take a look. The difference may not even be fitment. I've seen front motor mounts from as far back as 2g DSM's, and they looked spot-on identical. If I knew anyone who still had one I'd bug him for a comparison.

I'll wait until rhyzin checks it. If that isn't possible I guess I can just grab one of those and check myself (for the community). I pmed the the vendor so we'll have to see

haha. speaking of which, me and my roommates just filled a 2G GSX front motor mount. they made too much urethane so i filled the spare lancer one i had. they're not similar.

that picture in the link up there definately looks similar to the lancer. if the circumference of the bushing and centering of the bolt hole in the middle are the same, then this product should work since the all that needs to be done is to replace the rubbery middle part.

Just FYI the one I was referring to was a GS or RS with the 420A.
