Why not buy an aftermarket clutch for half that price? PM me for more info if you are really interested.

I can only guess that the price that Mitsubishi gave you includes the flywheel as well.
Whrn I took my Evo for clutch service they told me that it was about $700 for the complete clutch kit including a new flywheel(they don't like to resurface them).

The cheap prices that you got are probably for a clutch disc or a pressure plate only or maybe both but I am sure they are not big names(Exedy,HKS,etc)

well i noticed when i changed my clutch it had the exedy logo stamped on the pressure plate. but im sure that price is for the whole kit, as the msrp on the disk is only $100. check this site out, you can get the disk for $73.80.

I am too but I need to get some money first. I'm not selling anything, just provide an idea.

I just got my clutch put in today. The clutch itself cost me $315 (Including shipping). I bought it from NOPI (why, i don't even know) but it's the Daiken Exedy Clutch.
$315 part plus $380 labor @ $72/hr = 695.00

They might be inculding labor.

The cost is probably with the flywheel machined from mitsu... Anyways get aftermarket, non-organic (ie kevlar discs) if you want a clutch that'll last forever.
