I just used a crescent wrench...
If I still had my Lancer, I'd measure it for ya.

Can someone post a pic of where the filler hole from filling point of view? I only saw a picture from underneath the car. You can't fill it from under car can you?

You can, but it's hard. Best bet is to get a specific tool - squeeze bottle with a neck you can point. Or steal your Mom's turkey baster (I did this one. I still need to replace it, and that was a long time ago! ).

I would head down to the parts shop and grab a hand oil pump, they cost about 8 bucks and you get the job done in just a few minutes. in my opinion well worth the extra cash spent, Then bag it up and save it for next time you service the tranny.

just make sure you get one with a nozzle small enough to fit in the fill hole...the hole is tiny on our car. i had to cut the nozzle off of mine and just shove the rubber tube in the hole.

I bought a funnel with a flexible plastic tube from pep-boys, I just can't seem to find the fill hole from above the car. Do I need to remove something to see it?
