Today, I changed my tranny, transfer, and engine oil myself.
I put the car on the ramp, because I didn't have any floor jack, but I used a sloped drive way to make as level as possible.
When I opened the filler plug of the tranny fluid, I didn't see any fluid is dripping out. I drained it, and when I put 2.9Qt of new oil, it was overflowing. Does this mean I overfilled my tranny?
Will it be dangerous if the tranny is overfilled? Or am I paranoid?
For the transfer case, I can see that all the fluid was drained, because the drain plug faces the ground.
And I ended up using about 0.5+some Qt, so I guess it will be ok.

I recall seeing 2.9 qt for the trans. I think the transfer case is a little more than .5qts.
What fluids are you running for the transfer case. It calls for straight SAE90 GL5 with is difficult to find.
