Phantom Grip LSD

Has anybody used that? Would the one from mirage would work on 4g94 tranny?

I've been wondering the same thing for some time now. The price of the phantom grip sure does bet the price of the one offered by RRM.

Hmmm...interesting idea. I don't know if it will work or not, but I will point out that it is a kit to convert your existing differential to a limited-slip differential, not an entirely new differential like RRM's.

The Phantom is a no no in the Civic community. And I'm talking turbo'd members here... For a little more we use the OBX brand LSD with great results! So for now, I'd say don't do it and go full LSD!

yeah..those phantom grips are a waste of money. it's just a piece of iron block you wedge to the lsd if you think about it. i wouldn't even look into those imo.

I did a little research and opinions seem to vary quite a bit. Either way, apparantly, you have to grind down your spider gears in order to put this in.

There's some slightly helpful information here...

I don't need no reviews on the thing. I know what it is. I just want to know if that thing from 4g93 will fit nicely in my 4g94.

I just found out. It will fit. The one for mirage and eclipse fits lancer and ralliart perfectly. Same tranny, just different ratios.

I figured YOU knew exactly what it was. Obviously you had done research on it already. I just didn't want anyone else just reading the post and not doing their own research to get confused.

So now you're gonna buy this and tell us how it goes right???
