Paddle Shifter?
You would need a full standalone. The emanage ultimate is a piggyback unit. Even if you could use a standalone you would have to get the trans to bolt up to the engine. Since the 08 has a different engine I would think that it would not just bolt right up.
The problem isn't really with the ECU, it is with the Engine and Transmission.
The older engines probably will NOT connect to the new transmission, as the CVT and the 2.0L World Engine in our 08 Lancers are both brand new machinery.
The Ecu is the least of the problems with this. Who knows, though. Maybe they bolt right up? Doubt it, but maybe. Ask Mitsubishi.
Has anyone seen that Lamborghini Murcielagos come stock with a CVT transmission and Paddle Shifters identical to the ones in our GTSs? I thought that was pretty cool.

All the modifications I have in my car, I wouldn't want to trade it in. I'm not putting pics up either until it is fully finished. The TSI turbo kit will work eventually in my car...
