where is the reverse light switch???

someone please tell me where the damn thing is on the tranny cuz i must've spent 20 mins under my car lookin for the switch. i know the bulbs are fine and i checked the fuses. i guess the shop i took my car to for my clutch install forgot to put back the switch. i would like to have my back-up lights back asap...someone please give me a general location on the tranny, or a picture would be nice. thanks in advance!

I actually installed myself a switch that turns the reverse lights on without being in reverse, for car shows basically (or if someone decides to tailgate me at night). The good news is that I only saw two electrical plugs connecting to the transmission. There might be more, but I only saw the two. They should be on top of the transmission, which means a lot of work to get at them. I know this isn't much help but at least it's a bump.

i thought about putting high-beams for my reverse lights one time i hate tailgaters...especially those huge trucks and SUV's. i dont think that's very legal though. do u know if i need to drop the whole tranny to get to the plugs?

I can say that dropping the tranny is a ton of work and there is probably an easier way. Small mirrors might tell you if it's unplugged. If you follow the clutch install guide to the point where everything on top is taken off, you might have good access. I'm just a noob though.
