Um. Clutch kits don't come with slave cylinders. They come with throwout bearings. On the 02-03 Lancers, the slave cylinder is built onto the throwout bearing.

On that FX100 kit, the throwout bearing would fit the 04 and up Lancer, but not the 02-03.

 

So is it advisable to get the brand new slave cylinder with the bearing or could I replace the bearing on my original slave cylinder?

 

Is the Exedy MBK1004 original oem clutch for 2003 Lancer OZ???

 

The stock clutch for the lancer is a exedy dont know the exact part #. But i can tell you this i am on my 3 clutch. stock is a exedy than i moved to a stage 3 zoom POS!!with mild mods. than when i turbo'd my car i went to a act 6 puck that could hole 300ftlbs of torque, well at 20lbs of boost it didnt hold. so now i installed a clutch master fx400 6 puck clutch. suppose to have enough clamping power to handle what i am going to throw at it this time on the dyno.
So really it is all personal preference. i am a fan of act, but i would also invest in a light weight flywheel. and as for the slave cylinder/throwout bearing go to napa or rockauto. i honestly would not use RRM for anything. they have screwed me over to many times!!
