This is just crazy. I haven't done anything for my car but the damn dealership wants me to go in during the week and see if it does it then. I'm really going to try and get my car in soon. When I do I will keep you guys informed.

you don't want to use an impact wrench on the end link, you will def strip out the hex socket in the internal screw. It happened to me when i was installing the megans, wound up having to put a new slot in it so that i could get a flat head screw driver in place.

Those nuts only need to be torqued to 20 ftlbs.

Go to mitsu, tell them your story. Get them to check under the car, susp. eng. mounts ect. They should do a full check to see if anything is loose or abnormal under warranty!

I went to the dealership and they should do something but that damn place didn't do jack. They drove it and just like my luck nothing happened so they parked the car and said nothing was wrong.

I went to go talk to someone, and they were too lazy to do their damn job. Said from what I described, it didnt sound normal, but they didn't have enough bodies to check it out... even though there was no one there and about 4 people sitting around...

yea well i found the problem with my sway bar end links today and here it is.

Today I finally had the time to go yank the passenger side front wheel off and check that link since I didnt do it the first time. Well when I got the wheel off and looked at it something didnt look right and what that was is the end link is bent at the bottom.

I got to thinking what the hell could I have done to bend the damn thing. I pondered for a min and then I realized what caused it. What happened was I had to have a lug nut broke off around october or november something like that. The way they did it was they took a long a** crow bar like thing and wedged it in between the wheel and the strut and while one dude was hitting it with an impact wrench the other person was yanking on the crow bar thing and in turn bent the damn end link. How do i know this is what caused it is because if you look at where it is bent at you can see the notches that was made my the crow bar.

Now I got to get another end link so I can replace the bent one. Damn stupid a** people

Thats pretty messed up but I'm pretty sure that everyone else that has the same problem didn't have a broken lug nut. Not trying to take anything away from you and I'm happy that you found the problem and is able to fix. I hope that when you are able to get it fixed that your problems are gone. I'm pissed that the dealership didn't help me more. Keep us updated. Thanks.

but i will give you a verbal description for now. if you take your front tire off and locate the end link mine is bent at the bottom where it connects to the sway bar.
