Okay so today me and my friend went to a pick and pull because they had a 02 Lancer there. wasnt sure if it was an OZ or a ES but when we got there it happened to be an OZ. i was hella juiced. the lip kit was gone except for the rear lip which i swooped in a flash LOL. but ive been researching a tranny swap for a while and all th e parts that i need are there in the OZ and it would cost me about 400 to buy it all from the pick and pull. after figuring out how much it would cost im thinking about going there next weekend and ripping out everything, this is what i have so far

ECU
Clutch Assembly
All 3 Pedals
Linkages
Interior panel & Center Console.

is there anything else that i need to get for the swap? i will be doing this on my own so labor is not a factor. and i got room to spend since its so cheap. the only thing is that they ripped out the pressure plate and the flywheel and took that so i could just by performance ones later but that doesnt matter.

 

I am doing the same thing you are. From what I have read you might also need the wiring harness or parts of it. Otherwise that should be it. I think I am going to do everything in the summer time.

 

yea its really cheaper than buying it from here and stuff piece by piece. so i need the ecu and wiring harness to then? thats sick bro tell me how it goes. im gonna be getting the DOHC head next month as well. so its gonna be a busy couple months for me haha

 

Well I got all my stuff for free but imma get performance clutch, flywheel, and maybe lsd (not sure yet). Let me know how the DOHC swap goes, I am looking into ITBs for the engine but I don't think anyone but RPW have done it so we'll see how that goes.

 

Yea Ima get a performance clutch and flywheel to cause the one at the pick and pull has allready been removed so I have to and fasho I will.
