Downshift problem

i just got a new 2010 lancer de sport and when i brake i can feel it down shift like super hard does anyone else have this problem and is there anyway to get it fixed or is it just the way the car was built.

I'm assuming you have an automatic, and since it's a CVT it doesn't shift in the normal sense but it changes ratios continuously. So what you feel may be something else.

I Also have this problem with my 09 lancer es sport.... i dont know wats up with it if you find out anything let me know..
