shifter cable bushing took a crap...

If you look at the attachement, the bushing inside #7 took a crap.
What are my options?

Thanks for the PM Lusion.
So here's my update. I went out and got bearings yesterday... took them home quickly realized the bearing is much too small to fit snuggly inside the ring of #7. It looks like a good match to #6 on the attachement, but as far as #7 is concerned, it's much too small. Unless I got the wrong bearing, but I'm no skater, so I just went to a skate shop and asked for their cheapest bearing set.

Anyhow... It looks like I might still be able to fit the thing in there... It will take some time and patience, but I can probably shave the inner bushing little by little until the bearing sits in there tight.

I bought a shortshifter off of e-bay, and it came with 4 shifter bushings all the same size, but on my car there is 1 big and 1 little one. I think on an eclipse or something they are all 4 the same size (or whatever car that is in the picture, didn't look hard) but my bushings are totally different, the 2 of them.

*edit* Mine look like these http://www.importimageracing.com/mm5...&Store_Code=ii but I've been too scared to buy some, thinking they won't fit. They are for an evo, which has a totally diff trans, so I'm just not sure. Does anyone know? or care to send me their old oem ones out of an evo 8, so I could test them? Or the OP could?

*notha edit* It looks like there is an evo8 5 speed and an evo8 6 speed? The 5speed one ones may fit my OZ, I'd have to try to see for sure though.

*last edit* Maybe these? http://www.worksevo.com/store/produc...=google-simple

This is also interesting, but for the price... I think I'll just shave whatever needs to be shaved from the old bushing and get the bearing to fit.

I mean... I got 8 bearings for 12$... So even if I screw it up 7 times, I'm still that much ahead lol
My biggest problem right now... The bushing that took a crap had a metal sleeve inside. That sleeve is now "rust-welded" to the lever pin... and the area its in, is not really safe for a blow torch operation
