^So build one! You know I know Mitsu drivetrains haha we can make it work! (prolly with no fab) Swap the engine and 100% of the drivetrain and there'd be no issues.

^Thanks! It's no biggie, this is just for kicks and giggles while I wait for my AWD bits to come in. (still several weeks out ) Well, looks to me like the diff mounts are indeed there. I'll have a closer look at Rog's sportback to see about the rest. I'd say a conversion wouldn't be hard at all if you sort out the electronics. If you did a full conversion with the wiring there should be absolutely no issues! (in theory mind you)

i kind of did my own research on this, evo x mt trany $3k , driveshaft and rear assembly another $1400 from crashed evos on car-parts.com . now the rpw lsd is only $1350 , so , i mean almoust $5000 is a lot for awd , and even worst if i fly by u with my 4b12 at the same hp than yours just because u have all that extra weight.i was deff thinking about it but ama stick to my 4b12 turbo with lsd as an DD and im trying to get me either a z06 , an r34 or an evoix as nice car lol. tou im deff supporting the project. also dont forget that the evox trany is intelligent not like the new sti one which is all time awd the evox changes the traction, so im just guessing that electronics wont be as easy, good luck anyways

awd

going about this the exspensive route. the lancers share the same platform as the caliber and jeep patriot. With that being said might be easier and cheaper to swap that drivetrain over so long as the trans will bolt up to the engine (didnt get that far ). For the money spent on converting the lancer to awd i would rather convert the lancer to rwd using genesis coupe parts. I had 2 eclipses back in the day a 98 gsx and a 97 gs spyder. used the same frame for both cars so converting them to awd was cheap and a walk in the park. However 5 speed awd transmission and transfer cases are a dime a dozen for those cars and can be had for $400.i suggest waiting until mitsu releases the awd lancer this coming year make sure their in 5 speed and push one off a lot into a mack truck and clean up the mess.

i just log into a genesis forum to see if i can get any info on their transmision.they have a fwd for the 2.0 t and a rwd for the v6, i think the fwd is a 6 speed with lsd so , i would deff try to get that if i can actually confirm that its compatible with my 4b12 , they call their engine thetra but i think is the 4b1 that we have

All Genesis models are RWD if I'm not mistaken. The 2.0T I test drove was RWD with a Torsen LSD.
