Clutch Slipping Questions

I have an 02 OZ Rally and the clutch has begun to slip. I'd like to replace it myself, but have never worked on transmissions and had a few questions. What parts will I need to buy? After searching I've heard people talk about clutch slave cylinders, fly wheels, and the clutch itself.

Also, does anyone know a link to a walk through on doing this? Or a shop manual? I found one for an evo but I don't know if it would be the same on an OZ.

Thanks

thats a very big job..you have to pull the tranny out the side of the car or both motor and tranny from the top. if you have the money then replace all those you listed minus flywheel unless its scared up. just get the whole clutch kit, you and a buddy can have it done in a weekend.

The flywheel can usually be resurfaced for about $50.00 at a local macine shop.

resurface flywheel, and clutch kit...that is all"throw out" bearing, or clutch release bearing, and grease should be included.

don't **** around with the other ****, unless your flywheel is warped or cracked, and your clutch slave is pissing fluid, don't bother replacing them, if you're going OEM.

you need:
a buddy
patience
good tools
jack stands
floor jack
penetrating oil

you might need:
the manual
stabilizer bar end links
differential oil seals

and try not to break anything...i broke a transmission bolt in half inside the block, took me a whole day to get it out and tapped.

Cool thanks guys, well Im going to get this package. Cheap, and since its a non turbo lancer I figure I dont need a super crazy expensive clutch kit

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-HD-COMPL...ht_2667wt_1037

I do have some more questions though. For about twice as much I can get an EXEDY kit what do you guys think? Im pretty broke so I would rather go with the cheaper what do you guys think? Spend more for the EXEDY or no?

Also, how can I tell if I need a throw out bearing?

Thanks
