Evo X tranny

Does anybody know if its possible to use a Evo X transmission on a GTS engine? i might be getting access to one cheap in the near future, i'd be interested in swapping this for my CVT transmission.

Mechanically it's doable, but the software part will cost you more.

If you had unlimited time, money, skill, blah blah blah. The answer is essentially no.
You are stuck with the CVT until you get a different car, which is the far superior option compared to swapping anyways.

I own the car and i really enjoy these kinds of projects, thats one of the reasons i was interested. I'm one of those people that dis-assemble, re-assemble, and clean the crap out of anything i can get my hands on because i love working on stuff. I also enjoy painting cars and stuff to (future project).
I think in the long run i would be quite a bit ahead upgrading since i'm literally $1,000 into the car
