shift kits for autos

are there any for the new 02 lancers. i have been looking, but found nothing. I was also thinking of putting royal purple in the tranny for that lifelong smoothness.

there are two different tranmissions in Japan. There is the invecs-2 and 3. They both are manual shift through a row type action, very much the way indy cars shift. Get this the invecs 3 is a 6-speed transmission! I dont know if they can fit us Lancers(automatics) but, maybe they can. Until then let me get some feed back.Peace

You could get the transmission from the new Australian Lancer and bolt it up. Just make sure you can always answer the question: why

Because we can

seriously though..it would be auto and then when youre feeling froggy you can slide the shifter to the left and use it as a manual...which means it might be able to handle more hp from turbos and spool up as quick as a auto... I am really curious if the turbo had a boost of 12 or 14 could the INVECS III handle it??

instead of the measly 6 psi boost for the INVECS II (US auto)

Why you'd be so interested in drag racing (why else the need for such high boost?) and buy an auto car is beyond me.

This ain't a Supra we're talking about here. I'm with p. Why?

The Canadian OZ equivalent comes with the shiftronic transmission...not sure if it is INVECS, but it IS auto and selectable manual. Best part is that it is already in a lancer

I wonder if they are interchangeable...certainly would be cheaper on shipping too...
