I guess if you're deadset on it... but, I hardly think that the Lancer's HP constitutes upgrading that high. I think that it would be more cost efficient simply to get a heavier duty clutch pad as opposed to really going nuts with the upgrade. But, hey, it's your green.

Just thought you were asking for advice/opinions.

That clutch is going to be like a light switch. I'm guessing
that a stage 5 will have like a three puk preasure plate.
Its going to be real grabby, either on or off.

That's all well and good, but, I hardly think the Lancer is moving anywhere close to the amount of power that would necessitate that kind of upgrade. I mean, a heavier duty clutch pad would be about 80-90, and would be a decent upgrade, without going over the top. My personal plan.

but im planning on getting a turbo, so i guess its good then, and im sure the clutch itself will make my acceleration a little better.

I still think it's overkill. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

I'd really wait until you really needed it. I mean, who knows? You might want to some how change out your tranny if you get to a certain HP point. Really, you might need to, depending on the HP rating for this tranny, and how much HP you get up to. Then the clutch would be useless.

Upgrading the clutch while not necessary until you're putting down substantially more power to the crank, might simply be useful in being able to launch at higher RPM's giving you a pretty good advantage granted the Lancer's torque rating off the line. Something to think about. The only problem with upgrading clutches is that it's usually going to involve replacing the pressure plate as well which will probably get rid of the Lancer's "light" clutch feeling.

As for the pressure rate, I'm not certain, but you might want to ask Rock. After all, Road///Race does have a higher performance clutch and pressure plate available for purchase on their site.
