2004 Lancer ES Transmission question?

I've got a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer ES I'm not sure if It's a CVT or an Automatic tranny? I thought I heard somewhere it was a CVT so I've been running Valvoline CVT FLUID for about 500 miles with no problems help me out a bitt?

I'm pretty sure lancers (2002-2007 models) are auto or manual. 08+ are available with CVT

Well I'm wondering if running CVT fluid in a auto will burn it up or give me problems in the long run..
