Hi. I just bought a 2012 Lancer GT (Canada). Whenever I switch to manual mode using the paddle shifters, as soon as I come to a stop it switches back to Drive. Is there a way to keep it in manual?

 

this is normal operation. to stay in sports mode you need to have the floor shifter that has the +/- range and have it selected. iirc, canada lancers do not have that and only have PNRDL. you're stuck with having to toggle sport mode with the paddles. You could try getting a floor shifter from a gts and swapping that in.
