Clicking while turning and accelerating in a straight line

I just purchased my first lancer its an 02 5 speed manual 2.2l it has 233k on it runs like a top shifts fine. I am hearing a clicking noise under acceleration in a straight line and when i turn. The noise seems to be coming from the front driver side wheel well. It only does it when turning and accelerating. Once you get up to speed it stops. I am assuming cv axle. I was under the car today and nothing seems outta place. Any thoughts? I always wanted one of thease. Please tell me is simple lol
