I remember hearing about some guy setting up a Shiftronic setup in his 03 LS automatic where he was able to manually shift. Just wondering if that was true and is actually possible or switching the regular automatic transmission for a CVT one the 08-11 models use to switch between auto and manual.
Tiptronic at the shifter is manual. Stays in the gear you're in. Downshift still limited to whatever you setup your protection lockouts at.
I'm running a delay timer in auto mode I set to 6secs using the tiptronic power. So I have manual mode in auto mode for 6secs with
my Evo X paddles and the box shifts up in auto mode after my timer times out. I swapped the wiring to have down with my right hand.
Pic shows zero speed, my 4th wet mode in acd and 2nd gear in D stationary. Normally can only be in 2nd in tiptronic mode stationary.
My GTA toggles don't shift gears, they operate my 3 speed cruise control that I fitted.
