I have an 02 lancer oz rally with a manual 5 speed, the trans went out, was wondering if I could put a manual trans from a 2004-2006 in it and what all was entailed

So you seem like you know a lot, are the 4b11 and 4b11t the same but a few different parts with the same tranny or a completely different tranny? I own a 08 lancer de with the 4b11 that has 187xxx miles ok it and want to build the motor, my plan is to strip the motor completely and send it to a shop to be refurbished and bored and all that, then buy a 4b11t engine kit. And connect it back to my tranny, would that work?
