RRM Flywheel

yo...
im going turbo and so i was gunna go ahead and get the clutch system out of the way first. my question is the flywheel from rrm is it worth spending the 500 buck to get the aluminum one or should i just pay like 50 buck to get my stock one resurfaced? i dont wanna waste the money if it doesnt do much but if its worth it ill do it. thanks

It doesnt give you power, but it will allow the motor to rev up faster, which creates a faster boost time. I don't know anyone withit so I can't comment on how effective it is...

it also "gives" you power, in the form of droping weight, so not only are you able to rev faster... but frees up power that was already there

the flywheel translates to about 19 hp. thats a pretty sizeable gain IMO.

yeah, for every pound off the rotating mass, its equal to about 2.7 hp. and since its 7 lbs. lighter, do the math.
