Climate Control Problems

Has anyone had troubles with there climate control knob on there lancer?? Mine doesn't go all the to hot and stay. It turns to hot but it doesn't stay on max heat any insite would be great thanks.

anyone???? I really need some help on this I would like to fix this myself cause the nearest dealership is 2 hours away.

I heard there was supposed to be a recall on Lancers and EVOs because the cooling fan was acting up or something! I'm not sure if that has anything to do with your problem, but it might. Check with your dealership to see if that is a warranty thing that they need to fix!

Thanks man I didn't even know or get a letter in the mail for this recall. Any other defects or recalls I should know about that my dealer failed to inform me about???

Does anyone know what the TSB entails? Is it just lubing up the cabling from the selector knob?

I think the TSB number is probably a serial number for the recall/service bullitin, or some sort of reference to the VIN. I noticed my problem was listed on there, AC Blower Motor failure.
