coming of the 02 sensor is-
1 white wire
1 blue wire
2 black wires

after the 02 connecter is -
1 white
1 black
1 yellow/red
1 blue/brown

I used the white wire after the connector and got a good reading.

Since the cobalt uses the light I would wire the backlight wire through the cluster fuse and the power through something like the cruise control fuse, just make sure you plug the wire into the side that isn't hot so that you don't defeat the purpose of the fuse.

You dont have to connect it to the dimmer... but at night if it's too bright u wont be able to dim it down.

bleh. i was going to install a Faze A/R Guage in my car tomorrow, but I was complete unsure of how to go about doing this, but after reading this, I'm actually kinda scared of doing it, but I don't know. I might try to do it anyway.
