If you tap into the wrong wire you could throw your ECU off and it'll throw a CEL. If it does just take it back off and unplug your negative on your battery and plug it back in.

sorry to bring this back up, but did you ever get your guage working right? what all did you have to tap into to get this to work? Could i tap into my cd player dimmer for power?

go right behind your dimmer and theres 3 wires 1 power 1 ground 1 dimming...install yours to there and you should be running fine. also u can connect your ground there. power too if u rly want heh. if u rly need the help still pm me.
