Exhaust piping

Not a big problem, but a concern I have. I installed the RRM exhaust and it is centered and looks real nice, but the piping seams to bump the kit for the sway bar and sometimes taps it when hitting bumps. Not sure if this is normal or what measures I can take to stop the tapping. Just sounds wierd. If you need more detail I can take a digital picture if needed.

ok at least I'm not the only one. Just seemed weird because an inch or so over and it would be fine.

I just got my exhaust put on today, and i was just wondering if it is normal for it to shake when the car is being started...

Stock one shake too it is just now with tip you can see it shake. Maybe you need to put the bolt on the lower of the back tab by the tip.

mine used to shake too - - - because the rrm exhaust is thicker in diameter it may tend to rattle against the rear sway bar mount every now and then . . . . . . what i did to solve this is this:

on the exhaust mount at the front of the RRM exhaust i put some washers on it in between the rubber mount and the exhaust mount . . . this held the pipe a little bit further away from the sway bar mount and thus stopped the rattling . . . . it still hits the mount every once in a while if i hit something hard or go too fast over a speed bump, but it happens alot less than it did before . . .

the end of the pipe is still centered in the cut out too

there was two posts on the forums about rrm exhaust rattling - - i had posted in this one and then posted in the other one and had the link to this thread . . . one of the mods must have combined the two threads and thats why the link didnt work because it was a link to this thread
