Test pipe installation question

For those of you that managed to install your test pipe by yourself, how in the world did you get to the upper bolt on the end that connects to the downpipe? It doesn't look like there's gonna be any room to get anything up there to turn the bolt at all. A friend of mine and I were able to get half the bolts with an impact wrench and WD-40 but we quit after seeing that final bolt placement.

I know this topic's been discussed, but any help will be much appreciated.

He's talking about where the downpipe/midpipe whateverpipe meets the second cat. Those bolts are TIGHT (and apparently one's very difficult to reach too). I wish I had an impact wrench. When I did my cat-back it took me 40 minutes to get the bolts loosened. Between how much they're tightened and the slight rust from last winter it was a soak and pray type situation for me.

Dude, in this case, difficult to reach is an understatement. I'm gonna see if I can get some air tools to do it, and I'm gonna take pics next time I have the car jacked up.

I'm gonna try spraying it every day this week in hopes that by next weekend the front bolts will actually move.

Are you talk about the "triangular" bolt configuration? I'm just trying to remember when I got my catback made, how the bolt configuration was, and if memory serves me right, it sounds almost like it's inverted compared to what you're talking about.

Its fun you just need the right tools. I loosen the rubber hanger thing and then I used an air ratchet to get to the top bolt then if fell off ripping out the plug for the O2 sensor. But all is well
