How do I get moisture out of my headlight

My head light has some moisture in it. I did replace my bulbs with clear but thought all connections were tight. How do I get the moisture out?

that sucks, i had the same exact problems after i put my headlights in!!! you most likely didnt put the bulb back in correctly....what i did was i took the bulb out of the housing and put a hair dryer up to the opening, it took most of the moisture off. but what do you know, the next day it was right back in there. i think the day after that it dissapeared. i THINK kus i finally put the bulb back in the correct way, i didnt push and twist right.. but good luck

I think I will check all the bulbs. That's what I thought the problem was. Oh well. Thank you.

I've noticed something similar when I go out to my car on chilly nights- there's a fog inside. I'm not concerned though- the heat from the lights revaporizes the water and there certainly isn't any loss of intensity. I'll take the bulbs back out next spring when it's warm and that should take care of it.
If I was going to blowdry, I'd blowdry from the lens side to start the heat moving from the area of highest condensation and lowset temp to the outlet that I want the water to escape from.

Good luck.

i have already done this when a xenon bulb exploded in my head light, i took the head light out and put water in it so it looked like it had moisture in it. put the stock bubls back in and take it to the dealer they will replace it under warranty

Thats what another source told me to do...did you get to keep your old headlights?? I would like to try to smoke the inside with the black paint so it kinda looks like the jdm, but if I screw up I dont wanna have to buy new headlights...

remove the headlight. take it inside with u and put them on the kitchen table. let them sit there overnight or so. maybe even position a blowdryer next to it to keep the air circulating. then in the morning put it back on, check all the seals and suck. o yea look for cracks and holes that shouldnt be there

its easier to just get it replaced under warranty because any sort of moisture that has ever been in a head light leaves streeks after it dries. no you don't get to keep your head light if they replace it.
