Misfiring, Spark Plugs, wtf?!
It says in the manual for the car to only use a certain type of spark plugs. Basically it says to use the cheap ones. My guess is thats ur problem. A buddy of mine had a 2002 eclipse and put some type of good spark plugs and got similar problems. He was told the mitsus were kinda picky about spark plugs.
Can someone plz post what are the spark plugs recommended by mitsu?
I'm at work and can't get my manual. If I get that info I will just call NAPA and order some.
thx

I tightened it and it still misfires.
My OZ might be misfiring because of a coil pack but why would one of the plugs be loose??? I know it was tightened because I changed them myself.
Unless people from Midas f**** me up.
Any Ideas?

installed new cat converter, and rides is smooth from 1st-3rd gear.. Once i hit 4th gear, gas it and its choking and feels like its running rough, does this mean my Spark plugs is misfiring? What can i do to stop this? Help Please!
PROBLEM SOLVED
Few people have told me my coil packs will last much longer than 70k miles that I have on my OZ. The SES code was saying I had a misfire in the 2nd cylinder. I have swapped the coild packs and reset the ECU to get rid of SES light. I drove my car again and SES came out with a code misfire in the 4th cylinder. So now I was sure it's only one coil pack. I went to Mitsu and bought a boot that connects to the coil pack. It was only $15.00 everything is working perfectly now!
