Broke Dip Stick - Help

I broke the plastic piece off, and it broke off inside the tube, so there's nothing for me to grab on to with a needlenose. I'll take a picture when I get home if you guys want me to.

This guy was right. Tube is held on by a single bolt, and slides out when you remove the bolt. I got the stick out no problem after that. Now I gotta go buy a new one from the stealership.

Funny to think of all the things I've done on my car I never noticed that the dipstick tube was removable.

It's ok, we'll forgive you. It's an easy thing to overlook, I mean who the hell thinks about the dipstick when they are doing anything with their cars other than checking the oil level.

Just some FYI, it's $14.50 from the stealership plus tax. I was expecting something like $35.
