Somone has to know

Anyone know why my gas mileage was decreased on my car by about 40 miles to a full tank of gas once I added on my flowmaster. Ive heard that I may have too much airflow and back pressure is too much.

Anyone anyone please help.

once again this topic has been covered many times....search... but to try and help you for now is it a cat-back/axel back/ or just the muffler? It should be helping your gas mileage instead of hurting it. Did you reset the ecu after installing the flowmaster?

Has your climate changed recently? Driving changed? Have you seen the inside of the flowmaster? Its not a straight through, which would then add some back pressure rather than take away. Have you been driving more city than highway lately? Changed gasoline brands? Octanes? Have you gained a lot of weight?

there is a typical trick that ive heard of shops doing when putting on an exhaust. they might stick a bannana in there, which will really affect your gas mileage.

That's one of the oldest tricks in the books, seriously man, look for a banana.
