i haven't had this problem, but one of my friends hydro-locked his bronco off-roading and all we had to do is change the spark plugs, so my first bet is to try that.

yeah just check out my post titled "WOW...I think that my engine is EFFED" it will tell you everything that happens if you are not cautious with this type of problem! A new engine and lots of money for labor later...and the car is still in the shop...not cool!
