I installed my new head unit and after I was done, a day or two later, my a/c and defogger don't work. When I turn the car on, the three indictor lights blink and that's it. So, I must be getting signal or something to the climate controls but no power to a/c or defogger. control knobs still function, but no cold air. Please help me, I am steaming my windows and sweating to death.

 

check fuses, check to make sure the wires are attached to the back of the fan switch

my a/c dont work either, but i dunno if it ever did... go to the dealer n ***** at them

 

Steamy windows means the recirc button is on. Doesn't help you fix it since all they do is blink but thats why the windows are steamy.

 

I checked all the fuses the car has. I know why windows steam up. I just need to get the a/c fixed soon since summer in TX without it sucks. There was one other wire I pulled from the stereo that wasn't reconnected, but it didn't affect it. Anyone know the wire colors and where they go to...like a schematic, or something?

pull the cover back off and make sure you didnt pull the connector loose on the back of the control panel

OK, OK...now that I got the wiring diagrams and think I found the problem, I have run into a new issue. I CAN'T FIND THE JUNCTION BLOCK Where else in the 03 OZ can I find fues boxes besides the skinny one under the hood and the big box next to it?
