if the bulbs are not there, then it should be an open circuit. if the fuse blows, there is a short in between the fuse and where the bulb is.
more fuses to destroy

it seems
parking bulbs, (front)
rear lights.
license plate lights
gauge disconnect harnesses.
anything else guys.
fuse 21 is connected to your gauges, rear driverside tail lights, driverside parking light, and license plate lights. disconnect them all.

if you check for continuity between the bulb positive and a body ground, then the short is in the taillight circuit. if there is no continuity, the short is between the fuse box and gauge cluster.
pm zlancer. i go to him for anything wrong with my lancer. ... he fixed my electrical problem too. he told me that one of his lights wasnt working and he couldnt find the problem so he had to change ever single wire in his car. kinda like christmass lights. if one bulb is out everything else is so u have to guess which one is out
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO
so im asking you guys, as you may know im having electrical problems.
my drivers side taillight is out (just the red) and this is somehow connected to my gauges, which the red is out also.
also, my cedia lights have the parking lights out only on the drivers side.
so my drivers side is paralized.
when i replace the taillight fuse it blows out immediatly when i turb on the cars lights.
everytime. ive gone through 20 fuses.
SO, i rewired my cedias. and those are fine.
i checked the taillight connection and that seems fine.
what the hell could the problem be at this point!!! im so lost.
i figured my cedias were hooked up wrong, but that doesnt seem to be the case.
plz help me i dont want to get pulled over for this crap.

i had this same problem but the cause was me putting a system in the car. that system was a friends so i gave it back and i bought a smaller system put that in and a 20 fuse instead of a 7.5 and its been good ever since
If you have aftermarket tail lights from RRM like I do then that is your problem, they are trash and RRM refuses to answer any of my questions regarding a warranty on them. The wiring harness is trash and the main ground becomes loose very easily, once it does so they start grounding out through the body and other parts of the car causing all sorts off issues. I was getting a messed up gauage cluster and turn signals were turning on brights and check engine lights for sensor malfuctions in my engine and transmission. I pulled those damn lights and fixed the loose connectors and sealed everything up with RTV and electrical tape, been working fine now. hope this helps.

you told him to come here just so you could tell him that...
