Problems with PB V.2

I have tried installing my piggy back version 2 twice so far. Both time I made sure a connection was made with all wires. I followed the instructions, let the car idle, then drove it. When I put it into drive I got the CEL and after driving the car and turning off to make sure it started clean, it seemed like it was restricting my engine. The engine sounded like it was straining when it was given gas, and it was not accelerating much at all. I've tried it twice and both times had the same result. Right now I don't have it installed on the car so I can figure out what's wrong. I've read all the threads on the PB and related problems, but haven't quite found anything about what has happened with mine. Any help is appericiated. Thanks.

my cel went on when I had it installed and my car ran like a champ.

i'd call them or pm ROCK directly. Something may not be right or they may be able to assist you if you are doing something wrong.

maybe you got a manual piggy instead of the auto version...?

Both are the same aren't they? Only the connections change. Get that thing hooked up and tell us what the Cel code is.
