its up to you, but when modded my own cars colored hoses did not make it go any faster so what's the point. just an idea of what i also do go to the search and type dealer packages and you can see one of my dealer cars. they range to what i can put in them some intake and exaust some cosmetic and suspesion packages. i just cant lower them unless the customer who buys it asked for it.

they are seals that prevent oil from getting in to the piston area.. just a vague description. they are on the end each valve stem. but you can do an easy test. let the car sit for 10minutes then start it and rev it up and see if it smokes if it does then it needs them.

Wow this thread scared the living crap out of me!
Brings back bad memories of when my engine blew due to oil starvation, and a piston shot right thru the engine block, it was ugly man!

Anyway, I also have the Greddy Leaky Oil Cap and what I did to fix that leak problem was to add the rubber gasket from the stock oil cap to it in addition to the Greddy Gasket.

No more leaks!

However, once in a while my silicon hose that goes into the PCV Valve on top of the valve cover feels very greasy, and it looks like is has oil all over it.

I think I'm going to put a lil clamp on it.

Anyway, good luck bro, and the clicking noise just means bad news, on mine that noise lasted for two days before the engine blew.

well how does the engine run...if it was a blown head gasket it wouldn't really run good. also if you were burning off all that oil it would make a hell lot of smoke and you would notice it. it would also make it run sluggish.

Well, I went to Midas to see how much they would charge me to put the cat and original air box back in and they quoted me $90.00 (it was too cold outside for me to do it). But when I heard that price I decided to do it myself. The air box was easy as ****. But taking the god damn 02 censor out was a ***** (till I went out and bought a 21mm wrench). I will be taking the car to the dealer today after work. The only thing that I have on is the Red Hoses from RRM, and the Red Valve Cover from RRM (which is still a stock one), and the RRM Bored out Throttle Body. I think Mitsupwr is right. When I drive for a while and take the oil cap off, theres a bit of smoke coming out. Even though there is oil in the car. Thank god this happened now cause I have about 33,200k miles on the car. Warranty axpires at 36,000k

Well I made the car stock and took it back to the dealer. They did an oil change and told me to drive for a 1,000 miles and to bring the car back. I drove it for 1,600 and the oil ran out again. Dropped the car off again and was told the next day the I ****ed up my Lower Crank Case and that I needed a new one. Thank god this happened now cause my warranty expires in another 1,200 miles. But what im wondering about is how this could be happen. I did all the right maintenancing on the car. Did the oil changes on time, took care of it. It just bothers me as to why. The only thing that I could think is the Greddy Oil Cap (oil was leaking thourgh the cap) that I had and the RRM Valve Cover. Even with stock Oil Cap a little bit of the oil leaked throught the cap.

What does that mean "messed up the crankcase"? Are you getting a new motor? Or just other parts?
