ticking/rattling/knocking/

I have an 03 0Z 5spd. After I run it for a while, sitting in neutral, foot off clutch, loud ticking/rattling/knocking noise comes from engine. I can't pinpoint where exactly its coming from. It only does it when the blower is on. 1-4. The noise goes away when I press the clutch in. Comes back when the clutch is out. Any answers?

haha ... i have ALMOST the same problem ... when my cars in neutral ... i get the ticking sound .. and then when i turn my steering wheel it goes away ... i dont really know where it is either ... i thought it was my CAI hitting my hood ... but thats not the case ... my best guess is that the hood is hitting something ... (i push down on the hood and the sound was gone)
