hi guys, i bought a RMR Lip Type 1 and the 3M tape that comes with it doesnt stick very well to the factory bumper. What kind of glue or tape should i use to stick it into the bumper?

Thanks

Heavy duty double sided tape from any hardware store. That thing is holding my eyelids to by headlights for over a year now.

did you cut up your stock bumper to fit it? I heard you had to do that, never really confirmed it.

cool. sooner or later I plan to buy either 1 or 2 just to add a little flare to the lip kit... the cutting up made me shy away from style 1. thanks for clearing that up.

for the double sided tape...I used foam style tape to apply my eyelids. It works great. I dont know if thats what you have or not. Just saying so you know that there is foam and plain dbl sided.

Yes i did and it has to be done and trust me it hurt, but the finished product is insane!! I have my car slamed with Tein Coilovers and its like 2 1/2 inches from the ground. The opening of the front with the lip is like one inch lower than the factory one so it has to be done. i was thinking of a glue or something like that like crazyglue but for cars. Sorry for my ignorance

Maybe you are confusing it with the type 2. With type 2 nothing haves to be cut.
