Another RMR install problem/question

Alright, I just bought this intake used off of this board, but it didn't come with instructions, so I have a question.
Am I supposed to remove the support for the stock airbox in order to make room for the RMR heashield?
Also which holes am I supposed to use to mount the heat shield?

The part that is shiny black is what is in the way.
I installed my old cold air intake without instructions, and it went fine, but this is frustrating.
Please tell me I'm missing something obvious.

Try removing the air box support and see if it fits then. I have no clue cause I dont have this intake but it seems like it would use the same bolts that hold the piece that is in the way. the ones with red on them. Oh yeah, where is your fuse box cover?

I removed it to unhook my battery. I was worried that these were supporting the transmission, but that doesn't really make sense, so I'm going to go try it.

take those bolts off that I circled, there might be one or twop more I can't rmeember but that bracket does have to come off. Good choice on the intake, I've got it and it's great!

it rained for almost a solid week (a week or two ago.) We even had to declare a natural disaster because of the hail. Soon enough the engine bay will be shining again though. Oh and the intake went in fine once I took out that stock mount. I honestly thought it held more than just the intake. That's why I love this board though.
