Hmmm, I went for exactly one day on only a front firm mount and the car felt like a bucking bronco the front was solid and the rear looked like it was flapping in the breeze. Now with both I get a little vibration from the front bumper and interestingly enough the dome light vibrates sometimes.

maybe there was a manufacturing flaw... mine is fine... i've got the lsd so maybe that is preventing a lot as well?? Solid mounts are the way to go for speed/power transfer to the pavement but not for everyday driving or the occassional race. Maybe you guys should try flex's and send the solids back for some credit or something like that. my .02... hate to see unsatisfied people. Especially lancer owners!

Mine are absolutely fine as well, boe. I have both in place. No traction issues. I don't really do hard launches or anything though. My vibrations while driving are non existent, during idle it can be rough at times (low idles only sub 900rpms or so), but my idle's regulated to between 1,200 - 900 rpms depending upon coolant temp anyway so I rarely feel that.

I dunno what else to say. I wish I had more help for you.

I'm satisfied as well and feel about the same as you Hobie... a little ruff on idle but it is more like i can feel the car is running which i like. Before i looked at rpm's or reved the car to ensure it was running. Deyemme made a good product here. I just think some people haven't experienced solid mounts before and were not aware of low rpm drawbacks.

I know I'm really bringing this thread back from the dead, but I'm looking for long-term opinions on our mounts from Lancer owners, now that it's been a while. Also, we had taken most of our products off our website, including the Lancer parts, back in '08. We're just now ramping things back up after a long hiatus, and considering getting back into more Mitsu products again.

^^^^Way to go. You brought me back from the dead..... Haven't logged on since 2007!

I was always happy enough with the mounts. I have made my own solid mounts in the years since for other cars based on my experience with these.

If I remember right, the RalliArt front mount was a different design, but the geometry was the same. Seems like we quit sending out "regular" Lancer mounts and always sent the RalliArt mount after we learned that. I'll have to check my part numbers again to be sure.

We have the front and rear mounts listed now. I don't think we ever carried the Lancer side mounts, although we might have done some special orders. Time to dig out all the molds and see if I have anything for those sides. If not, I'd have to order mounts, see if we even can fill them, then make molds for them. If there's demand, we'll do it!

i had your motor mounts too and i loved em. firm in flame red.

I drag raced with the oz back east and the mounts made my shifting so much smoother. would buy them again in a heartbeat.
