I rotated the tires to the front and I am trying to
peel out to clear flat spots is this a good thing to try?
Let me know if i am just pissing in the wind and need
to get new tires for the car. Because the still have ALOT

...Beam me up scottie...There's no intelligent life down here!!!
I will admit it, I have done the ebrake thing a few times too. Only difference is, I find a good dirt road to do it on. And like mitsuboi said, I would yank it and then let it right back down. Its not safe at all, really kind of stupid doing it with a lancer anyways.

Some of you guys really amaze me. You're lucky it's only your tires that is messed up.

So I pull this, then I drift...right?
before i had my car, i had a truck, and you can swing a corner and hit the gas to break traction, and countersteer to correct it. when i got the lancer (used) i figured i'd try and do it with a fwd car instead. its definately not drifting, its more of a "pull the e-brake, lose control, and slide into a curb and cause 5G in damages" type of maneuver... trust me...

You know, i think maybe there is something wrong with my rear brakes. you all are saying you can lock up your rear brakes with a good tug on the ebrake handle but i can yank it and leave it and the wheels will still spin. the car slows down alot, but they dont lock up. of course i dont leave them like that. I used to do this alot in my nissan sentra and spin around and just be crazy since the car was junk. i figured id do it in the lancer for old times sake.. you know one for my dead homies. nothing. not even a chirp much less an *** slide.
you should have done it on the highway and been like paul walker...then threw it in reverse and flipped someone off....
sorry to hear bout your tires...you'll prolly just have to get new ones
