exhaust tip touching body kit!! what to DO??

my dc sports cat back is already siting up a little to high with my stock oz bumber and has melted it.

i now have a ken style body kit and it is even lower so i need to drop the hangers quite a bit.

what is the best way to do this? i think if i bend the hangers it might help a little but still not near enough.

what should i do?

i think kart boy makes hangers right for this issue. Search for that. I know for a fact they are out there.

Go to a local muffler shop and get them to mount some different hangers on there. $20 or less I'd guess...

actualy i just got my ken style kit tonight. and i noticed that the hole for the exhaust tip is actualy a good 2-4 inches to the left compaired to stock... and when i look up under the car i dont think the pipe will even move that far. i dont want to have to cut it cuz it would look like crap.

does any one have a ken style kit and had this problem? its the style with the little slits at the bottom and has no real spot for a license plate.

is it the real deal with the kit? or is it a knock off brand? my brother had a ken style kit and his exhaust lined up just fine.

Ebay Kit?

I have the Accolade Kit and my tip touches the bumper. I've had no problems with it. I've heard that it even shakes a little too much when I start the car, and shut it off.

So I'm guessin mine is just smacking the bumper, but nothing bad so far.

And yes, I', planning on getting that fixed. I believe it's in need of another hanger.

yea he might have got it off ebay, i only paid him 450 for it and he got it for 600 originaly.

but anyway im goin to have to fiberglass a flat area on the back bumer for my license plate. but i just relized there wont be any lights shining on my plate like on my old bumper. i dont think its a big deal, but does anyone know if thats illigal? just dont want to get pulled over for somethin stupid like that.

Why dont ya just widen the circumfrance of the hole in the bumper, by cutting or shaving it?
Its easy and takes less than 10 minutes.

cuz it would look like crap.
this isnt my car but its the exact same problem im having.

i might just have to go to an exhaust shop and get them to add some pipe to it with a curved S shape.

Wasn't it called the Apex kit... Don't quote me, but I've not seen one in a while!

Your best bet is to take it to a muffler shop, better to get it done right the first time then to have to redo it later on.
